As part of my ongoing health education I have started to look at what others are doing to lose weight. Picking up a little gem of tip here, and good idea there. However, what some people are doing to stay trim is horrendous! Watch the below video…
Could this be good for you?
Maybe I will try it to start the new year for just a day or so and then I will let you know what happens.
I’ve made the decision, I’m going to cancel my subscription to the gym!
What! … I can hear you saying. Are you mad? Surely, going to the gym is essential for any serious weight loss program. Yes, you are correct, ongoing physical training, particularly cardiovascular is REALLY important. So let me qualify why I am doing this, because there are a number of good reasons involved.
This has far less to do with my diet than my life in general. Just occasionally a set of circumstances come together which can make life difficult. This is how it has been for me for the past fortnight, I have hardly had time to draw breath, but now I am through it and starting to focus myself once more.
If you have been following my journey I have to apologies for going AWAL for the late part of the week. The reason was I was working on a job that just HAD to be finished on a deadline which meant I had to work every minute I was awake.
In my line of work this happens occasionally and I just do not have the time to think about much else other than getting the work out on time. I havn’t had the time to walk either which is very timely as it has been monsooning here for the past week. The weather will improve just as soon I get through this work load.
I feel really happy with myself as when I visited the gym yesterday people kept tell me I looked thinner. Now I am more bothered with my measurements and how I feel inside than what a dial tells me, however, encouraged by this motivation I weighed on their scales to discover I have lost 9 kilos.
So I am going to have a BIG cream cake to celibate
I still can’t measure my weight on our home scales because I am literally off the scale, but I measures my tummy and I HAVE LOST 4 INCHES. So I must have lost it in other places also. In fact I think measuring yourself is actually more motivating and productive than relying on the scales alone.
This week is going to be another ultra busy one for me with many deadlines which must be met, and for that reason I have become more prepared in the time I have available for eating and exercise. A very usual paten for me in the past is to be so busy I forget to eat until I reach the point of being so hungry that I will eat ANYTHING! DO you know the scenario I am talking about where you have to eat anything however unhealthy it is just to satisfy your hunger? …you just gobble it down as quickly as you can to satisfy your need. Its a really stupid situation which can be totally avoided.
