I seem to be settling down into my new eating regime quite nicely.
I have been very strict with my portion size and eating approximately half what I would have done in the past and I have not been hungry. Last night my children I started to eat RAW carrot – now that’s something I would have never have believed I would have eaten, and CERTAINLY NOT my children, but they saw me doing and had to explore in case they were missing something.

Its another warm one and my main focus is to keep walking. At the moment by back hurts me after a few hundred yards, but the more I walk the stronger it gets. My aim is to go exploring the beach with my kids by the time the summer holidays start in three and a half weeks time, I CAN do it! [click to continue…]
So far its a little cooler today so I am going to get on with writing this morning, and then walk and read later on if it becomes to hot again. I am going to focus on drinking lots of water and walking at least twice today. [click to continue…]
I am as determined as ever, and this time I think I have my head screwed on right, so I know I will make it happen. I am committed to keep this blog updated and make it the central focus of my attention to get RESULTS!
Today has been an interesting one which has now gone how I had expected mainly due to the extremely high heat, but I am not complaining as we don’t get it as nice as this very often, that’s it for today, I am finished.
I am nearly 100% fit again and today I felt like going to the gym, so I did a bit of work this morning and then headed off. Now I tend to be a bit of an extremist in most things in life, and from past experience know that I usually try to do FAR too much, FAR too soon. This usually results in me paying the price by becoming so stiff and sore that I can hardly get out of bed or easily walk up or down the stairs at home. So on this occasion I was going to take it REALLY steady as I can start picking up the pace a little when I have done a few breaking in sections. [click to continue…]
Its the first day of spring and I am getting good results. I have taken it steady and am starting to really enjoy this way of eating because I feel positive and although I haven’t yet weighted I think I am a little bit smaller around the tummy, but that could just be wishful thinking.
